Biology is the most content-dense science at IGCSE, 21 topics, three papers, and a mark scheme that rewards precise wording over general understanding. A student can “know” osmosis perfectly and still drop both marks for writing “water moves to where there is less water”. Frequently asked questions

Which syllabus do you teach?

Cambridge IGCSE Biology only, 0610 (A*–G) and 0970 (9–1). Both use identical content and papers; only the grading scale differs. We deliberately specialise: no Edexcel, no AQA, no IB. Your tutor knows the exact mark schemes, command words and examiner expectations of the Cambridge papers your child will sit.

Do you teach both Core and Extended?

Yes. Your tutor teaches whichever tier your child is entered for, and can advise on the Core vs Extended decision if the school hasn’t finalised it. Extended students get full Supplement coverage; Core students focus on securing every available mark within the Core papers.

How often are classes, and how long?

Classes are 1.5 hours each, 1-to-1 on Zoom. Most students take one class per week, increasing to two as exams approach. There are no fixed packages. You pay RM80/hour and adjust frequency as needed.

Can students outside Malaysia join?

Yes. Our scheduling is built around Malaysian time zones, but expat families and overseas students sitting Cambridge IGCSE Biology are welcome to enquire. Online classes work anywhere with a stable connection.

What happens in the first class?

The first class is the compulsory free 1-hour trial with your assigned tutor. They diagnose your child’s current level, which topics are shaky, where marks leak in past-paper answers, and show you exactly how they teach. You only continue if both sides are happy.
